There is a very special, small hotel in the mountains near our home in Brazil. The hotel Toriba has been a retreat for Pam and me whenever we have needed to make a major decision of just be "us". The Toriba has been our special place since 1980.
Pam booked a night for us for my birthday and surprised me with this special gift. Memories are good for a marriage. Sacred places are good for a marriage. As we walk around this beautiful setting we can see our kids here with us and we can remember major decisions we made in this place. We hope we have many more years coming here to make new memories together.
I wish our grandchildren could come, too!
